Support Services

The Pascoe Vale RSL aims to provide defined support services to ex-Service; Affiliate members; their dependents and to the community. These services include organising RSL funeral services, and hospital/home visitations. For further information regarding the support services offered contact the RSL on 9354-6364.

The Pascoe Vale RSL actively participates in the raising funds for the yearly run Poppy and Anzac Appeals. A band of volunteers made up of the RSL Committee and members sell poppies and badges and organise BBQs to raise money for the Appeals.

Through support from our valuable volunteers, and donations from individuals, groups and businesses within our communities, we work towards achieving our mission and hope to give back to those who sacrificed their lives for our country.

Women’s Auxiliary

The Pascoe Vale R.S.L Women’s Auxiliary play an important role  by providing assistance and care for veterans and war widows.

They are a small band, who work voluntarily, to assist the Pascoe Vale R.S.L Sub Branch in raising funds to help our members. We rely on bingo, fund raisers such as fashion parades, trading tables, raffles, etc. and this year our Christmas Concert. The monies raised go to the Sub Branch to help in making our R.S.L a place for all members.

Some of our ladies have volunteered in running bingo for over 30 years, twice a week, hail, rain or shine. If that’s not dedication – what is? We also celebrate Christmas with the war widows each year with a special luncheon.

So many Auxiliaries are closing due to age, health, travel and lack of members. We don’t want this to happen at our R.S.L, we would welcome any new members. The work is rewarding. Contact reception for details on 9354-6364.

The Pascoe Vale R.S.L Women’s Auxiliary meets on the 2nd Monday of each month at 1.30pm.
